The Book of Mormon

I am reading the Book of Mormon with my mom. It has truly been a gratifying, heart-softening, learning time for us. I feel like I have come closer to my Heavenly Father, my Savior, and my mother!

So today we read Mormon 2-5 or so. It was sad—the Lamanites and Nephites are both wicked!! The only righteous person is Mormon, who is all alone. I feel sorry for him. I think of how reading of this made me so sad, but I do not even really know these people. If it made me so sad, I only can imagine how sad it made our Heavenly Father. Their Father.

*sigh*

I don’t want to make Him feel like that. Sometimes I do. I am sorry about that.

Blood, Toasters, and PowerPoints

Once again, this is Laura... not Mariah or Emma or Kemyla or Caty or Kezi or Erica or anyone else like that.

I am at school, in the library.

I am supposed to be doing a PowerPoint on hemophilia for my Child Development class.

But I did it really fast (and did a crap-tastic job) and now I'm just hanging out.

By the way, hemophilia is a birth defect in which you're missing clotting factors in your blood, so when you get cut you BLEED AND DIE! It's that thing that the royal family in England had, as well as Tsarevitch Alexei and other people.

Sitting next to me at this moment is my friend Tammy, who worked on this project with me. Tammy says hi.

Speaking of PowerPoints and things, I made a PowerPoint for my Spanish class. It is about the history of toasters. It took FOREVER to make because I had to translate it all into easy-to-understand Spanish, which meant I couldn't just copy and paste on Google Translate. I did learn a lot about toasters, though. The first pop-up toaster was invented because the inventor didn't like the burnt toast sold in the cafeteria in his work. Toasters didn't really take off until 1933, which is when sliced bread was invented. I like The Brave Little Toaster. :D

Sorry 'bout the whole 30 day photo challenge. I had a temporary reasoning lapse between the trimesters and thought that I actually had time to do something like that. Oops.

Let me tell you about prioritizing! It helps you get EVERYTHING YOU NEED ACCOMPLISHED. Last week I was expecting to be easy since I am facing my easiest tri. But contrare to my premonition I was shocked by not being able to get to bed one night before 11. Then 3 of the mornings I awoke at 3 and still was not able to get everything done! How did I manage last tri, which was my hardest tri thus far? Well I worked on my prioritizing and now I am able to get great things done! :) Well because of my new prioritizing experiment I might or might not have more time to come and write to my admirers.

I guess we shall see!

Aaahahahaaaaah…

Okay, my friends. I just spent ten minutes writing a long post on my frazzled and nervous mind about Saturday. I have a whole day of dating!

Then I decided that I need to practice having faith.

I have faith that Heavenly Father will help me to have fun. Funny thing is that when I talked on the phone with him I was completely calm. I was not comfortable, but I was calm. Then I wrote that freak-out post and it went down the drain.

Instead of saying, “JUST THREE DAYS AGO I WAS OKAY WITH THE FACT I WASN’T GOING TO PROM!!!” I should be saying, “Hey, how lucky am I that I get to go to prom with a cute senior boy?” HA-HA!

That freak-out post did not help at all. :P

Q: Why is this post named Undesirable?
A: I couldn't think of anything to name this post before I began writing it, so I went to a random word generator and that is the first word that came up. I hope that random blog post names aren't especially annoying or undesirable in your life.

Q: Why does your blog look like this?
A: Meh... long story involving Emma being... well... Emma. I know, it's a little undesirable, but I assure you that it will be back to 100% very soon! Hopefully the wait isn't too undesirable.
Note: Even after construction is finished, random fire alarms may go off at times. If these happen, (as undesirable as they may be) please go stand out in the snow and find your assigned trusted adult. :D

Q: How is your life going?

A: SO GLAD YOU ASKED! Well, it's definitely not undesirable. 3rd trimester just started, and my classes are fabulous. I got all A's last trimester, and I'm studying bunches for the next ACT in April so I can do well and get into college. I've been doing lots of Personal Progress with my friend Amanda Fatty Epic Fail Gail Brown, and although that can be a lot of work at times, it definitely isn't undesirabe.

I plead the 5th for any future questions... gosh, paparazzi. So undesirable.

1: My favorite color is silver. (The voices in my head told me so. I don't dare question the voices.)

3: Almost every time I choose to read a book I end up crash reading it. def. Crash read: 1. To dedicate a certain amount of days to the event of reading a book until it becomes your reality, and you can't put it down with out feeling that your life has stopped. 2. Reading a book while driving an airplane and having damaging results. Of course I am referring to number 1.
4. I am eleven years younger than my closets sibling. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
5. My favorite hymn is "I Believe In Christ"
6.I am enchanted by my home town. I loved the tree lined streets, the historical buildings, and the temple rising in our mists.
7. I hate to be imposing on people, I have a hard time saying no, I am inept at speaking in front of groups, and each day I grow more like my mom.
8. I dreamed a dream of opening an aquarium in St. George, Ut. How cool would that be! I feel that St. George is where I am meant to be.
9. I believe in the power of friendship! It can change peoples lives!

First. Yes it was I. I, Emma, messed with our blog and made it unfixable. So sorry, truly I feel very sorry. Thanks to Mariah for undoing some of the damage. I really did not mean for it to get that way. I just took a step on the wrong path and somehow I reached the point of no return. WAIT! There is no such thing as the point of no return. No matter how much a masked phantom tries to tell you so. It can be fixed! I just need your help, Mariah and Laura. Then I promise not to ruin things again.

Second confession. Laura do you recall the time that you thought our password had a s at the end? Well.... You see.... Actually....... The truth...... is..... that you need to stop forgetting little things like that!
