New Years (six days late)

Happy New Years!
Yes, I am quite aware that New Years was six days ago, but I have been procrastinating a bit more than I find acceptable lately, so I decided just now that a late New Years post was better than none.
Shall we guess who is writing this post?
Is is Emma?
Of course not! Emma would have misspelled something by now...
Is this Mariah?
Of course not! Mariah would have bourne her testimony by now...
If you haven't guessed yet, this is Laura. (aka Laur, LoJo, JoJo, Bugaboo, Scout, etc.)

Here are some of my New Years resolutions:
1. Do better in school. I get good grades, but I'm secretly a bad student.
2. Get into college. And not a stupid college like Salt Lake Community College.
3. Do more service. Service is good. It also helps with New Years Resolution #2.
4. Complete Personal Progress again. Not sure how this one's gonna go... I worked on Personal Progress for 3 1/2 years to finish it the first time, and now I have a year.
5. Try to eat less junk food. I don't want to die when I'm 40.
Yes, I know that these are pretty dumb resolutions, but I must assure you that I have some good ones as well -- they're just super important to me so I'm not going to post them online yet. Maybe when the year ends I'll tell you about them.
Also, one more thing... I'm generally an unambitious person, so all these resolutions are really general and have words like try and better, so then if I don't do too great then technically its not really failure. Maybe I should have a resolution to stop doing that. Next year.

If I were Mariah, I would include a paragraph about how great 2010 was and all the things I've learned and how my testimony has grown.
But I'm not Mariah.
But for the sake of it, I will include something.
2010?
Not what I anticipated.
What have I learned?
I dunno; a lot of stuff.
Testimony?
Fabulous.
Enough said.

I hope that all you blog readers had wonderful New Years and Christmases and Hanukkahs and Kwanzaas and Other-December-Holidays! Anyone who cares to can comment and tell us about your holidays if you really want to... I don't know what I'm saying exactly, but in all other blog posts I've read they end with an invitation to comment.

Wear a jacket!
Learn how to quilt!
ASK SOMEONE TO SWEATHEARTS! (viciously directed at Mariah and Emma)
